        Kim     Name: Kim
    Years In FRC: 1
    Now?: NC State University
    Major: Architecture
    What I Enjoyed about FIRST?:
I learned a lot about something that I never have done before.
At first I did not really know what to expect and I was completely
clueless about everything. But by the end of the year I really
enjoyed being on the team and it was a great experience and
I came out with a lot more knowledge than what I started with.

        Years In FRC: 2
Now?: University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC)
        Major: Mechanical Engineering
        What I Enjoyed about FIRST?:
I loved being able to just build the robot, really. It really goes
along with what I like doing. I learned a lot about all of the tools
and materials we used to build it: names for stuff, a few
expressions, and a lot about drill bits. I also liked being
able to use the machines in the shop. While I was using them,
I found myself thinking "Wow, I could really see myself doing
this for a living. It's fun." I wish I had joined up sooner, and not
been so hesitant when I did decide to join.

Spiro (picture courtesy of Jordan Shelton, Team #832)         Name: Spiro
    Years In FRC: 1
Now?: University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC)
    Major: Computer Science
    What I Enjoyed about FIRST?:
I enjoyed learning about everything on the robot. I mainly
enjoyed fabricating parts but it was really interesting to
learn about the electronics and attempting to learn
programming. Thats why I decided to major in computers.

    Jonathan         Name: Jonathan
        Years In FRC: 2
Now?: University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG)
        Major: Biology
        What I Enjoyed about FIRST?:
It was unlike anything else involved with kids in high school.
You wouldn't get to build working robots that cost thousands
of dollars without the efforts of FIRST and the people behind
it. It's just a very unique experience.
