Hello and welcome to the website for FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Team #2655 "The Flying Platypi". We are a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization based in Colfax, North Carolina made up of local high school students and adult mentors. Since our founding in 2007, our mission has been to inspire young adults to pursue careers in science and technology through a fun, yet competitive, robot build season. In addition to building robots, we try to spread the excitement of science, technology, and engineering through year-round community outreach, mentoring, and charity events.
